Merry Christmas

''Twas before it was Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse” (before Genesis 1). For before anything was, God is and forever shall be. But he desired to create man in his image and likeness (Genesis 1:27);/ so God took the dust from the earth and created man (Genesis 2:7), male and female he made them.

Thus mankind is on earth with dominion (Genesis 1:28), and the favor of God. But a fallen angel Lucifer, knew misery loves company; for how lonely is one without family (Ecclesiastes 4:10) especially for the holidays? How much more was he every day of his life? So, he tricks Eve to fall from God's authority (Genesis 3:4-5); and man has been tricked and falling ever since!

But God didn't want man tripped up forever, so He sent a foundation that was trick proof (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus comes to save the world from their sins and themselves (John 3:16).

And this is the reason that we celebrate this season and that's why you should love Jesus so. He came to be not just your Savior, but Lord; for in him he ensures that we don't get tricked again for his Spirit now lives in us (John 16:13-14).

We've all got something to celebrate this Christmas as believers. Christ lives in me; Christ loves me, and He is coming back for me. That makes for a Merry Christmas.
