Kirkland A. Smith
Senior Pastor
Kirkland A. Smith was born on January 25th in San Francisco, California. He graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School in San Francisco, California; then attended San Jose State University(SJSU) in San Jose, California earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration & Management. Pastor Smith is currently furthering his education at Grand Canyon University, earning a Masters of Arts in Christian Leadership.
Pastor Smith has been married to his beautiful wife, Qwivander T. Smith for over 30 years and have five beautiful children. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys all genres of gospel music, and is committed to building a better community for the next generation.
Before Pastor Smith grew his own ministry, Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch(GBF), he served as a Deacon and Minister of Missions at Fremont Bible Fellowship, now known as Family Bible Fellowship in Newark, California pastored by Horacio S. Jones. Pastor Smith was also the Director of the Tri-Cities Community Development Center in Newark, California.
After being a faithful servant to Family Bible Fellowship, Pastor Smith established GBF in 2003. His ministry focus is to preach the gospel in a "real manner", to "real people", thus ensuring "real change." This focus has grown GBF from the original 30 charter members to now over 800+ committed(all in) GBF members. In his 20+ years of ministry, he has pastored to hundreds of thousands people and saved over ten thousand lives in person and online.
Pastor Smith's desire is to grow the Kingdom of God where the Spirit of God saves one soul at a time.
